Collection: Sew-In Hair Extensions
Listen, the thing that makes or breaks a sew-in isn't the install, it's how much hair you start with. I skimped on bundles once to save money and spent the whole install staring at thin spots at my crown. Quality bundles, enough of them, and the right closure, and a sew-in gives you weeks of full, low-effort hair that survives multiple reinstalls.
What you'll find here:
- Virgin and raw human hair bundles that hold up through several installs
- Matching closures and frontals so your leave-out blends instead of giving you away
- Textures from body wave and deep wave to silky straight and kinky curly
- Hair that takes color and heat like your own
Shop body wave with closure, or browse below. Planning your first install? Our bundles and closures guide breaks down quantities and lace sizes, and there's more on what a sew-in actually gives you if you're weighing it up.
How many bundles do you actually need?
This is the question that haunts every first-timer. Shorter lengths need fewer bundles and longer lengths need more, because the longer the hair, the more it takes to keep things full. Most full installs land around three to four bundles, with a sleek bob needing fewer and longer or extra-full looks needing more. When you're between counts, size up, since running short mid-install is the worst. Doing a full install with no leave-out? Add a closure or frontal to that count.

Closure or frontal, and which lace?
A closure covers a small part area, usually 4x4, 5x5, or 2x6, and it's the lower-maintenance pick for everyday wear. A frontal runs ear to ear, 13x4 or 13x6, and gives you deep side parts and pulled-back styles, but it asks for more upkeep. HD lace is finer and thinner than transparent lace, so it tends to blend in more easily once tinted. If you want set-and-forget, a closure is your friend, and our lace closures guide goes deeper on sizes and placement.
Making the install last
Most sew-ins hold 6 to 8 weeks, and please don't push much past that, because your edges and the hair underneath need a break. Wrap at night in a silk scarf, deep condition weekly, and keep heavy product off the tracks so they don't build up and itch. The bundles themselves hold up through many months of wear, and raw hair lasts longest, so you reinstall the same hair instead of rebuying every time.
Why shop our bundles
Every bundle in your order is cut to match, so you're not hoping three random packs blend. Same texture, same density, install after install. The hair is cuticle-aligned to resist tangling, the virgin hair takes color well, and the raw hair air-dries with that natural movement. Going for a defined curl instead of waves? The deep wave closure holds its pattern beautifully, and there's a matching HD lace frontal when you want full styling range.
Ready to install?
Start with body wave if it's your first sew-in, since it's forgiving and you can wear it wavy or flat-ironed straight. Add a matching closure, count your bundles by length, and you're set for weeks.
A sew-in gives you the most hair for the longest stretch, but it isn't the only way to wear bundles. Want less time in the chair? Tape-ins sit flat for daily wear, and if you'd skip installing altogether, the same closures and lace turn up in our human hair wigs. Everything ties back to the hair extensions hub, with everything we carry a click away.

Sew-In and Bundle FAQs
Can I reuse bundles for more than one install?
Yes. Quality bundles hold up through multiple installs if you deep condition them between wears and store them properly. Raw hair holds up the longest.
How long does a sew-in last?
Most sew-ins stay in 6 to 8 weeks before they need to come out. The bundles themselves hold up through many months of wear, and raw hair lasts longest.
HD lace or transparent lace, what's the difference?
HD lace is a finer, thinner lace, so it blends in a little more easily once it's tinted. Transparent lace works well too and is the budget-friendlier option. Both look natural with a clean, well-tinted install.
How do I maintain a sew-in between wash days?
Wrap your hair at night in a silk scarf, deep condition weekly, and keep oils and heavy creams off the tracks so they don't build up. A mid-install co-wash keeps everything feeling fresh.
Which bundle texture matches my natural hair?
If your hair waves when wet, go body wave or loose wave. For tighter coils, kinky curly. For relaxed or blown-out hair, silky straight or yaki blends best.
