Yes. Our extensions, wigs, closures, frontals and braiding hair are 100% human hair.

We stock fourteen textures, from straight and body wave through deep wave, kinky curly and afro kinky. Every texture we sell is stocked in the hair extensions collection, and the glossary explains how each pattern behaves.

Our range runs from jet black and natural black through browns, honey blonde, platinum blonde, burgundy and copper. Hair colours are named with industry codes such as 1B, 27, 613 and 99J, and the colour codes entry explains how to read them.

As a rule of thumb, two bundles cover shorter lengths, three cover 16 to 22 inches, and four are safer past 24 inches. Every bundle weighs about the same, so the longer the hair, the shorter the weft it comes on, and the more bundles it takes to fill a head. A closure or frontal counts toward fullness. Choose extensions close to your current length and add density rather than inches. Clip-ins are the gentlest way to test volume, and wefts build it permanently. See the clip-in collection.

Yes. The match that matters is curl pattern: choose the stocked texture closest to your own, such as curly, kinky curly or afro kinky, and the blend looks like grown hair. Browse the curly hair extensions collection.

A closure covers the crown parting area and is the simpler, sturdier choice. A lace frontal runs ear to ear and frees up the whole hairline for styling, at the cost of more upkeep. We stock both, so browse the closures or the frontals directly.

The letter-and-number grade scale isn’t regulated, so one seller's 10A is another's 8A. Judge hair by what is verifiable instead: remy alignment, virgin status and weft construction. The hair grades entry explains the scale honestly.

Raw hair generally survives the most re-installs, with virgin hair close behind; both outlast processed hair. The bundle entry covers what raw means, and the virgin hair entry covers the rest.

A topper covers the top and crown rather than the whole head, which makes it the tool for thinning that shows at the part first. It attaches to your own hair around that area, and the hair you leave out does the blending. Ours are human hair across a range of bases, from breathable mono to silk, lace and skin, with clip-in, tape-in and bead-in attachments among them. See the toppers we stock.

A U-part wig is built around a U-shaped window at the crown, and you bring a section of your own hair up through it to cover the wig's top edge. Your own part and hairline stay on show, so there is no lace to blend and installs take minutes. A V-part wig works the same way through a narrower opening that needs less hair left out. We carry U-parts in straight, body wave, kinky straight, deep wave and kinky curly.

They come from the hair typing system, which grades pattern from 1 for straight through 4 for coily, with letters A to C marking how tight the pattern runs inside each number. Our curly and coily products carry these codes, kinky curly at 3B-3C and afro kinky coily at 4B-4C, so you can match your own pattern instead of guessing from photos.

Yes. A glueless wig holds by grip, because the cap carries an adjustable band plus combs and clips that anchor into your own hair. Fitted properly it stays put through a normal day, and it slips off at night the way a wig should. If you want extra security for a big day, a small dot of glue beside the parting does it. Both terms describe hair by how little was done to it. Start with the virgin hair entry; raw hair is covered under hair bundles.

Those country names are marketing labels for a texture and a feel, not a promise of where the hair grew. Most extension hair today is Indian or Asian, whatever the pack says. No origin is higher quality than another, so judge hair by whether it is remy, whether it is virgin, and its actual texture. The origin names entry has the full story.

They are the industry shade numbers, where a lower number means darker hair. 1B is natural black, 350 is copper, 99J is burgundy, and 27 is honey blonde. The full list, and how codes combine into blends like a built-in ombre, is in the colour codes entry.

They're lightened lace knots that make a parting look like scalp. See bleached knots.

It's the sewn track that holds extension hair together. See weft, and hand-tied weft for the thinner variant.

They are the four properties a stylist reads before recommending extensions. Texture is the thickness of each strand, from fine to coarse. Density is how many strands grow per square inch of scalp, which decides how much added hair blends in without looking heavy. Porosity is how readily hair takes in moisture, and elasticity is how far a wet strand stretches and springs back, the quickest check on its condition.

A single-drawn bundle is left as it grew, long and short strands together, so it thins gradually toward the tips. Double-drawn bundles have had the shorter strands sorted out by hand, which leaves the ends nearly as full as the roots and adds to the price.

Yaki is a texture finish rather than a curl pattern. The surface is textured to match relaxed or pressed hair, so it blends where natural hair is worn straightened. Compared with silky straight, yaki keeps a little grip and body. We stock yaki straight bundles, closures and frontals in 100% human hair.

Most often it is the cuticle. Hair collected as fallen hair has strands facing both directions, so the cuticle scales catch on each other, and factories strip the cuticle and coat the strands in silicone to hide it. That smoothness lasts until the coating washes off. Cuticle-aligned hair, also called turned hair, is collected so every strand faces the same way, and that is what keeps better bundles smooth for months.

No. Every bundle, wig, closure and topper in the store is 100% human hair. Synthetic fibre is a heat-sensitive acrylic that cannot be conditioned or restyled the way real hair can, and it holds one style for its short life. Human hair takes heat styling and moves like your own because it is the same fibre.

They are two grades of the same idea. HD lace runs the thinnest, so it vanishes against most skin as it comes, and it needs a lighter touch in return. Transparent lace runs slightly thicker, stands up to more handling and costs less, and a pass of lace tint closes the match on deeper tones. Wash every seven to ten wears, or every one to two weeks in steady use, with a sulfate-free shampoo. Extension hair gets no oil from your scalp, so it needs fewer washes than the hair growing from your head, and over-washing dries it out. Cleansers and care products are in the hair care collection.

Use a sulfate-free shampoo, a rinse-out conditioner and a lightweight leave-in. Avoid heavy waxes and anything that builds up on the weft or lace. An occasional clarifying wash resets the hair when product does build up. See the hair care collection.

Detangle while the hair is damp and has conditioner in it. The tool is a wide-tooth comb: start at the ends and climb toward the roots in stages. Never rip through a knot from the top. A gentle hand here is the single biggest difference between hair that lasts and hair that sheds.

Keep the hair lightly moisturized, detangle before bed, and sleep with it braided or wrapped. Friction and dryness are what cause matting, so a silk bonnet or satin pillowcase does real work.

You can, with precautions. Chlorine and salt water dry and roughen the hair, so wear a swim cap when you can, rinse thoroughly in fresh water as soon as you’re out, and follow with conditioner.

Wash it, let it dry completely, and then keep it shaped on a wig stand or slip it into a satin bag somewhere cool and dry. Storing hair damp is how mildew and matting start. Done right, storage is what lets good bundles survive several installs.

Treat it as the most fragile part of the unit, because it is, especially HD lace. Skip the scrubbing and wringing, and keep adhesives and dye off it. Handle the knots area with your fingertips rather than a brush.

Count it across re-installs, and it depends on the product. With proper care, quality virgin hair commonly gives one to two years of use, raw hair often gives two to three, and processed hair gives less. Those are the ranges the industry publishes, and care is the biggest variable in every one of them.

Yes. Bundles survive multiple sew-ins when they're removed carefully, washed and stored dry, and undersewing instead of sewing through the weft extends their life further. Closures reuse the same way, though lace thins with each round.

That depends far more on how much you wear it than on the calendar. A quality unit gives up to two years of continuous use, and a wig you only bring out for occasions will go a good deal longer than that. A wig is never stuck to your head the way a sew-in is, so it comes off at the end of the day instead of being worn, washed and slept in for weeks at a time, and the hair on it takes far less punishment than extension hair that gets installed and reinstalled. The lace is the part that gives out first, so how you store it between wears matters as much as how you wash it.

One to three weeks is the sensible ceiling for a glued or worn-in unit. After that it comes off, so your scalp and the hair underneath can be cleansed and given a rest. Pushing longer works against both the lace and your own hairline.

Yes, human hair extensions take colour. Going darker is straightforward; lifting to lighter shades is chemistry best left to a professional, and a strand test first is non-negotiable either way. Colour gently, deep condition after, and expect coloured hair to need more moisture.

Yes. Use a heat protectant, set the tool no higher than medium, and stay away from the weft and the lace. Heat that a flat iron can deliver at maximum will shorten any hair's life, so use the lowest setting that holds your style.

Use the lowest setting that does the job. There's no magic safe number, and the big "safe temperature" figures floating around the internet are exactly how hair gets ruined. Stay low to medium with a protectant every time, and remember that a few cooler passes beat one hot one.

Not always, because HD lace often reads as scalp without it, and lace tint is the no-chemistry alternative. When knots do show, bleached knots are the classic fix, done carefully so the lace isn’t weakened.

Tint darkens the lace toward your skin tone so partings disappear. Regular makeup can work in a pinch but builds up and stains; a purpose-made lace tint washes out predictably. Reapply lightly at the hairline as it fades.

Occasionally, yes, with low heat, small sections and a protectant. The pattern reverts when washed, but straightening a tight pattern often, or hot, will gradually loosen it for good. If you want to wear straight regularly, buy a straight or kinky straight texture instead.

Both are colour designs that come already built into the hair, so there is no salon appointment involved. Ombre is a gradient, darker at the roots and blending to lighter ends down the whole length. No. Sew-in installs, clips, combs and glueless bands all hold without adhesive, and sew-in is the most secure everyday method. Glue is an optional extra for frontal melts. See the sew-in collection.

People do, but a first install is worth a stylist: the braid base and tension decide both how it looks and how your hair fares underneath. If you DIY, sew the closure down first, then work the wefts.

Take it slow. Unpick sew-in thread with a seam ripper or small scissors and a mirror, use a proper adhesive remover on any glue and let it sit before lifting, and never pull a unit off dry. If something won’t release, stop and get a professional to finish.

Clean the skin under the lifted edge, dry it, and re-secure with a small amount of fresh adhesive or gel rather than piling product on top of old residue. Lifting that keeps returning usually means the install itself needs redoing.

Often you won't need to, because most modern units come pre-plucked with a made hairline. Customizing further, like tweezing density down or cutting the lace, is optional finish work.

Tape-ins and bead systems come back for a move-up every six to eight weeks. A sew-in is best redone in the four to eight week range, with eight to ten weeks as the outside edge. Your growth carries the base away from the scalp and the tension changes, so a move-up is normal maintenance that comes with the method.

A purpose-made adhesive remover does it. Work it along the bonded edge, give it time to soften the hold, and lift the lace gently once it releases. Never peel dried glue off your skin or your lace. Clean the last residue off both before the next install, because fresh adhesive needs a clean surface to grip. No, provided they're installed, worn and removed properly, and your hair gets breaks between installs. The real risk is sustained tension on the same spots, which is how traction alopecia develops. Weight, tightness and duration are the three things to keep honest.

It's usually dryness, tension or product buildup, and sometimes sensitivity to synthetic fibre. A clean, lightly moisturized scalp and a looser install solve most of it. Itching that persists or comes with soreness or flaking is a reason to see a professional instead of powering through.

No. Mild tightness on day one settles, but real pain doesn't. An install that keeps hurting is too tight, and the pain is the damage happening. Loosen or remove it. Persistent tension at the hairline is exactly what traction alopecia looks like early.

It's a small skin-patch trial of any adhesive, dye or chemical, done a day or two before full use. Do one before a first glue install and before bleaching. The sensitivity test entry explains how.

Give them regular breaks. Your hairline is the most fragile hair you have, and daily tension or daily product on the same strands is how thinning starts there. Style them for the occasions that matter and let them rest in between.

An integration hairpiece carries small openings across its base, and your own strands are pulled up through them, which anchors the piece and blends the added hair with yours until the join disappears. It depends on the style and how thick each braid runs: box braids take more packs than a few chunky braids. As a starting point most full styles use several packs, and a spare pack beats coming up one short. The braiding hair collection shows what's in stock.

Your hair is cornrowed flat first, and each crochet piece is pulled through a braid with a latch hook, looped and secured, so the added hair hangs free.
