The Most Part You Can Get Before a Frontal
Seven inches square is as much working lace as a closure carries before it turns into frontal territory, a full crown of it up top. On most textures that much open mesh is asking for trouble, but the Spanish wave's uneven bend is what lets a footprint this big pass for your own crown. Set the part dead center, rake it to a corner, or throw it wide, and this one base carries your whole parting field rather than just the patch a slim strip would cover.

An Uneven Wave Beats the Eye Across the Open Field
Give the eye seven inches of lace and it finally has room to scan the inside of the part, hunting the repeat that gives a closure away. A wave on a schedule hands it one. This one never repeats, though, so its bends fall at their own widths and depths, and wherever a glance lands inside that square it finds no rhythm to catch, only hair that grew this way. The size buys the room, the wandering wave keeps the room from ever looking laid out.

Packed Thick, Corner to Corner
A part this wide has to read densely filled to pass as your own. The full 7x7 footprint gives the strands the room to fall thick across the whole square rather than thinning toward the outside the way hair scattered over a narrow strip would.

Sewn Down, Edges Tucked Under
The install is a braid-down sew. Work the closure onto your tracks with a blunt curved needle and cotton-wrapped polyester thread, running your knot of choice all the way around the seven-inch perimeter, a longer anchor line than any smaller base asks for. Pair it with matching Spanish wave bundles for the full install, your own edges braided out of sight, nothing left out to blend.

Sheer Knots Across the Longest Run
No closure bares more scalp than a seven-inch square, so the lace has to hold up across the whole field rather than just a strip. HD's ultra-fine knots keep that full square reading as skin corner to corner, and on a deep 1B they duck the milky haze a coarser base would throw over so much open part. Cut the edge ragged so only a breath of mesh is left, and it's done.

The Wave Lives in Bonds Water Undoes
The Spanish S rides on the strand's soft inner bonds, the kind water and heat loosen and let re-tie as the hair dries, nothing permed in to slack out on you over an install. That means the whole crown will iron poker straight for an evening, and one rinse and air-dry later the loose S is back across every part you set. Always lay a heat shield down ahead of a hot tool.

Take the 1B Up to Blonde
No chemical has ever opened this virgin pigment, so the 1B lifts clean to honey blonde when the bundles underneath are already coloured, and the tone holds true across all seven inches of open part with no patchy band where the crown shows widest. Prefer it dark? It ships that way, in a 16 and an 18.

Why a Wide Part Wants an Uneven Wave

A part this wide can't fake its way past you. Open seven inches of lace over the crown and the eye finally gets the room to comb the inside of the part, looking for the tell that repeats. A wave on a schedule serves one right up: even bends stepping down the square read as set instead of grown. This wave never repeats. The bends fall at their own widths and their own depths, so wherever a glance settles inside that open square it turns up no rhythm to lock onto, only hair that landed this way on its own. The size is what hands you the parting room, and the wave that never patterns is what keeps all that open lace from ever resolving into something the eye can name.

Build a Wig or Sew the Crown

The same closure goes in two ways. Cornrow your own hair and stitch it in to crown a finished sew-in, or sew it onto a cap and build a closure wig that comes off at bedtime, the 7x7 standing in for the whole of your parting field. Either way it covers the top alone, so your own hairline keeps doing the work up front. Match the length to your Spanish wave bundles in 16 or 18 inches and the texture rolls clean past the join into the body underneath, the widest crown a closure gives you flowing straight into the length with nothing to mark where one ends and the other starts.
